Camino Beauty Oil
After closing Zoe Organics, August of 2024, I booked a solo trip to Portugal to walk the Camino de Santiago Portuguese route from Portugal to Spain. I needed the space to process this huge transition, heal, seek answers and reconnect with my heart. Zoe Organics had been my passion, my work, my income and identity for 14 years. I wasn’t exactly sure who I was apart from it.
I have a home lab with a collection of oils and raw ingredients I play with regularly, and I had started working on a face oil for my middle-aged, perimenopausal skin. Before I left, I made an iteration to take with me on the Camino, where I would be make-up free and using only the essential personal care items + this gorgeous face oil. Well, I fell in love; the feel, the aroma, the way my skin felt and looked while using it…exceeding my hopes and expectations.
When I returned from my trip, I shared it with a few friends and the feedback was unanimously “this oil is AMAZING!!”. After formulating body care products for moms and babies for 15 years, this is my first official face product and I am obsessed.
True to my formulation ethos, this a blend of oils and extracts that are nothing short of premium quality, potent with vitamins and antioxidants, and certified organic or wild-crafted. Truth is, this oil is priced at half of what similar prestige face oils cost, and for now, I’m ok with that. I love sharing what works for me and I love my conscious and savvy customers.

Camino Beauty Oil is a release inspired by and tested during my solo hike, covering 280 km by foot over 12 days. Camino is the Spanish word for “path” and each day on the Camino brought challenging terrain, unpredictable weather, unexpected surprises and discomfort. But I’ve never seen such beautiful rainbows after a storm, appreciated the roar of the sea or the smell of a eucalyptus forest like I did on this adventure. There was beauty everywhere I looked. I just had to show up for it. Camino Beauty Oil celebrates our unique paths, stories and the beauty in and around each of us.
