Camino Beauty Oil
Camino Beauty Oil is a limited release inspired by my recent solo adventure to Portugal and Spain to hike the Camino de Santiago, Portuguese coastal route. My camino was a deeply transformational pilgrimage where I sought answers, healing and a renewed sense of purpose while covering 280 km by foot over 12 days. Camino is the Spanish word for “path” and each day on the Camino brought challenging terrain, unpredictable weather, unexpected surprises and discomfort. But I’ve never seen such beautiful rainbows after a storm, appreciated the roar of the sea or the smell of a eucalyptus forest like I did on this adventure. There was beauty everywhere I looked. I just had to show up for it. Camino Beauty Oil celebrates our unique paths, stories and the beauty in and around each of us.
My process for this Formulation: On the Camino, I carried all of my personal items in a 30L backpack all 280 km, which meant I only took the essentials. I did not take any makeup with me, but I formulated this beautiful face oil to take with me, which was a small luxury among my basic personal care items. The gorgeous color of the natural oils, the blend of fruity, floral and citrus scents (not unlike the mediterranean landscape) and the just-right feel of the light, but nourishing oil that left my skin soft and hydrated. After using it exclusively for 3 weeks, I noticed a significant difference in the appearance of my skin and was even receiving compliments from strangers about my skin. I came home and made more to share with friends. The feedback was unanimous. Even my teen daughter somewhat reluctantly started using it and noticed a clearer complexion and more even skin tone. Although I have been formulating for 15 years, this is my first official face product and I’m obsessed. I’m so excited to share this special release with you.
DIRECTIONS:
Gently massage 3-7 drops onto face and neck after cleansing, morning and night.
